Deja Vu

Today was a pretty average day in town, just the usual watering, so I decided to visit the city. Sometimes ill stumble upon a former resident of Azure, today I ran into four. Their creepy amnesia still bugs me. Oh and sunday I finally got a chance to take part in the turnip market, something I was never able to do in the year i've had the game.

Yes, i've been naughty. Though I did get the Modern cabinet, putting me an end table away from completing the set, I missed the 'Holiday event' because Iwent on at six and it doesnt start til eight. Ah well I was never going to get the entire furniture set anyway ;p Feliz Navidad people.

Well a real snowstorm hit my area over the weekend, so what ive been doing in Azure has paled in comparison. Also I destroyed one of my snowballs so I couldnt make a snowman today. It's pretty easy to lose one of those.

So the past few days have been remarkably successful in terms of snowman making. Ive been showered with praise by said snowguys so extensively that I had to screenshot all of their amusing lines, and got a horse moving in to boot. A horse named Ed, is that not perfection?

Well the holidays have made me busy but I finally got a post in after two days of not playing. Many of my flowers were brown but not nearly as many as I expected. Also, my town is finally snow-covered and I was able to make my first failed attempt at a perfect snowman. I figure once I have the formula down Ill be churning them out daily though.

Yesterday I took care of some pest control, and it finally started snowing in Azure today. The ground isnt coated so there's no snowball to shape into disappointed snowmen. Last year I wasnt aware of the precise specs for rolling a snowman, so i only made one that was perfect, but essentially you have to roll a snowball around to get it to maximum size, then do the same with another THEN roll it briefly over a snowless patch of ground so it's slightly smaller before pushing it on top of the first. Maybe this year ill get another one that i can post but it's more likely that ill have a gallery of failed attempts along with their insults.

I never miss a chance for this.

There's no snow yet in Azure, but I was busy anyway. I missed a day and as anyone who plays the game knows, one day missed can mean a lot of brown flowers. There is a bright side however because after I got the watering out of the way I ordered my tree and put it up. Way easier than it is in real life.

Midna, Majora and all the rest.

Well soon it starts snowing in my quaint little hamlet, but until then i've had to find other ways to amuse myself. The other day was a point special so I used a bit of my savings and finally ordered Midna's mask, which finally completes my collection of Zelda related animal crossing items. The funny thing is I can buy as many triforces as I want so if you want to buy a triforce message me.

I feel like letting out a laugh like Ganon's from the game over screen of Zelda II.

Greetings! I wasnt able to obtain the entire Mush set, so I did a little retail therapy on what happened to be a point special day and now I also have Midna's Mask on the way, completing my Animal Crossing Zelda collection.

So today was the Harvest Festival, I protected a turkey from a turtle by giving him all the knives and forks and in exchange i got furniture. It was even funnier this year than last, here's some of the highlights, including the Mayor's great spread.

Quest for the lighthouse

So I've decided to quest for the lighthouse to break up the monotony of autumn. There's just a few more days to collect mushrooms as well and soon it's thanksgiving, er, the Harvest Festival.

So yesterday was a fishing tourney, for black bass alone. Now I did pretty well, going so far as to surpass myself, and I still lost. Fortunately the turkey comes around soon and then the snow starts. Yay convoluted snowmen!

So in the last week very little has happened, except for feverish mushroom collecting of course. I also missed a day of play hence the lateness of my post and faced many brown flowers. On the plus side, I got a hat!

Well not much is going on in town right now, just a lot of Mushroom collecting. Soon though it will start snowing and hopefully by the end of the month I will have the entire Mush set!

One Year Anniversary!

Today is a momentous day. I've been playing Animal Crossing now longer than I ever played any game unceasingly. I wasn't sure when it was that I started playing but I got a letter from Nintendo and a cake. Ive definitely evolved since last year, the only remaining original townsfolk are Nana and Biskit, and I cant wait to see how things look in another year. Who knows, maybe another Animal Crossing will come along by then.

All's i've done this week is work on getting the entire Mush set. Not much is happening but there was an announcement today that soon it will be snowy out, and then I get to spend the winter making crappy, diappointed snowmen, yay!

Today one of my town's residents gave me a predication that my flowers will explode with awesomeness. If that's the case then I may actually get another blog post tomorrow. A new bear moved in today as well and I also obtained another peice of Mush furniture, it's actually quite pretty.

There's not nearly enough combustible emotion in this game.

Fungus and Forgery

So the past couple of days have been spent doing nothing but collect mushrooms. Finally today I stopped by Redd's and got another forged painting, but on the plus side I did get the wardrobe to the Modern set. I now need the end table and cabinet and I have the entire set!

Gulliver's Travels

So I finally managed to shoot down Gulliver, one very elusive town visitor who only shows up if you dont have any other visitors and happen to be extremely lucky.. In the past year ive seen him three times and finally made him crash. Yay! My present wound up being chocolates.. not bad.
