Mixed Results

So yesterday I took a day off from my town, and my return today was uneventful except for all the brown flowers. The scallop loving beaver Pascal was there but like always I completely ignore him. Nothing particularly thrilling was going on so I pissed off a resident, I love the feature of this game that allows you to drive away the townsfolk that you dont care for with apathy and verbal abuse.
After that I went fishing and got hilariously random results, then managed to sell off one of those Bass to a rather dim monkey.

I dont even kill real flowers this quickly.

I didnt want to give him a nickname, gawd.

No bells..

..4,000 bells.

Worth 160 bells, hahaha.

The Quest continues

So today my meanderings into animal crossing were pretty tame, untill of course I came upon the fountain (also gaudily decorated with the bragging rights of a perfectly maintained town) and threw in my axe. Now ive had the fountain for a month and throw an axe in nearly every day and I still havent gotten a gold or silver axe even. Observe the horror.

I've bought more of these than i'd like to admit..

It was rather frustrating to come so close and yet again go without it so I vented with some fishing and paid off a little more of my mortgage. I love a game where you start out in debt.

Greetings fellow nerds and welcome to the blog chronicling my daily obsession with Animal Crossing: City Folk. Ive been playing since November, and successfully obtained the hero's clothes, hero's hat majora's mask and the triforce, and changed my town's theme to the Zelda theme, ive collected all the fossils and still I have tons of things to get before my neurosis is alleviated.

And now we move onto today's highlights.

When you leave a house vacant long enough it gets cockroaches, by simply walking over them you kill them. You know, rather that hiring an exterminator you grind them into the cracked concrete.
