Happy Halloween!

When I got Animal Crossing it was already November, so I just missed this particular event, so there's still a holiday I was anticipating. The premise is simple. You go around town getting candy either from the store or your neighbors, which you then give to Jack. Several townsfolk are set up as his doppelgangers. They look just like him and also demand candy and if you dont give it to them they turn it into a jack in the box. When you do manage to give the candy to Jack he'll give you a piece of spooky furniture. Problem is, he seems to have no problem giving you five dressers before forking over the vanity. I gave up after I counted three each of only five different pieces from the set and an hour and forty minutes had passed. I leave you this account of the events nonetheless.

Omgs!

Great I'm getting mugged, and I thought I was obsessed with candy!

That's a wicked title.

Inflation

Well with Halloween still two days away Azure remains rather dull. I invited someone from another town over for the first of November, and plan on making it my non-hallucingenic totally wholesome mushroom day. As for today I got a balloon and found a crown in the clothing store, both representing inflation perfectly, and also somehow obtained a second Silver Axe.

Greeeat..

You think they would have more respect during the recession.

The happy kind of inflated market!

New and Old

Well the only thing left to do in my town at this time of year is flower cross-breeding. Ive found that in certain areas flowers seem to achieve a boom in growth and to just plant all of one type in this area, which seems entirely random. Though despite yeilding black tulips, cosmos and roses I couldnt get out of my mind how creepy it is that old neighbors dont recognize you when you see them again in the city. I know if you did that you would eventually run out of people whove never been to your town, but then I wonder what happens when someone eventually moves back in after youve had them all? Awkward!

Tabby moved out, and sees right through me..

Robin moves in. What about a Nintendo Power subscription?

No reason for this one,. I just find it amusing.

Stay Gold

So it's pretty slow while we await halloween and November, the mushroom month, but I did have one shiney spot this week, the breeding of a golden rose. Now for those of you not possessing a Prima guide, the Golden Rose can only be bred if you breed a Black Rose let it wilt, and water it with a golden watering can. Said can only be obtained if your town is in excellent condition for 15 straight days. So screw the rest of them, that rose goes by my house!

Ill try, Ponyboy

Colo- Explorer's Day

So yesterday was Explorer's Day, aka Colombus Day which for some reason is celebrated in Animal Crossing with a nifty ship model. I must say it pales in comparison to Halloween, which im purchasing more candy for than real candy for actual trick-or-treaters. As I recall the candy is how you get the pumpkin furniture.

So America was discovered by a turtle?

..and the spread of smallpox.

A model ship? My god, I'm a nerd within a nerd.

Omgs Sword

Well Curt has moved out of my town leaving only two of the original villagers still in it, Nana and Biskit. I'm crossing my fingers that at least one lasts until November and I can say I kept one in for a whole year.

But there's more! Nook's was carrying the Master Sword and I snagged it. I now have all the Zelda related items! On a side note when you touch the Master Sword it plays the sound from Ocarina of Time that you hear when you get something. The triforce, I learned, does the same thing it does on the title screen from A link to the Past.

OMGS

Do doo doo

Doo do do dooo

Do..do..dooooh

I got it..just need to jiggle it a little..

All the leaves are brown and thats so gay

Well they arent brown yet, but the grass has lost its vibrance as we moved from September into October today. Things were pretty routine the past two days though, but amazingly I bought a painting form Redd that was authentic! Iggly considered changing his catchphrase but damned if im losing 'Cake'.

Last day of summer!

First day of brown..

A steal..

Ill donate it as if I was actually rich..
